Have a 406 coupé
But, I hear you say, I don’t like Pininfarina.
OK. Have a 406 coupé by Zagato.

Ew, gross, the facelift

Shame you missed out 3/06, there was a Pininfarina convertible for the Peugeot 306 and the rally version.
Still, 406 coupé is a wonderful looking car.
The last truly great mid size Peugeot imo.

I prefer your car. The front looks cleaner. Where the other looks like it’s grinning like an idiot.

There was a Pininfarina version of the 205 as well: the convertible. I’m a bit of a fanboy, as I own all 3. The 306 exactly as in your photograph. I took this yesterday.
edit: is that my finger in the picture? Why yes, yes it is. Am I a total beginner? Yes I am!

Mm, nice. Elegant cars.

It was a desperate attempt to conform the aging 406 to the new-at-that-time huge gaping mouth grille design trend at Peugeot. It was another sign of the start of the malaise era at PSA.

I haven’t seen a 306 for ages but as I recall the convertibles looked quite tatty when their hoods got old. Like this, but much worse:

Jup, the condition does make quite a difference. The 306 gets middle child syndrome as well I guess.

Peugeot do some great cars then drop the ball with others.
